THE PERSON BEHIND THE COMPANY
Security is serious work, but the people doing it should still bring warmth, patience, and humour.
Security is serious work, but I believe the people doing it should still bring warmth, patience, and a sense of humour to the table.
I have always believed in the good in people. I believe most people are trying their best, that communities are stronger when people look out for each other, and that good work should leave things better than they were found. That belief is a big part of why Cormier Security Systems exists.
My journey outside the security industry has shaped how I work inside it. Karate has taught me discipline, respect, humility, and the value of steady progress. Learning to code and becoming a full-stack developer taught me how to solve problems carefully, think through systems, and build tools that make life easier for people. Amateur woodworking has given me a deep respect for patience, precision, and the satisfaction of making something solid with your own hands.
At home, I am married to the love of my life, and we share life with our not-so-digital watchdogs, River and Winnie. They are not much help configuring a camera system, but they are excellent reminders that safety, comfort, and home are personal things.
That is the heart behind this company. I care about doing the right thing, explaining things clearly, treating people fairly, and building security solutions that make life better, not more complicated.
